Mads Reuther

Mads graduated from the Danish School of Performing Arts in Aarhus in 2018. Prior to his training there, he had already build a solid career having appeared in a large number of films such as: Nikolaj Arcel’s 2010 comedy THE TRUTH ABOUT MEN; Thomas Vinterberg’s award-winning THE COMMUNE, in which he played the role of ‘Jesper’; as ‘Espen’ in the drama IN THE BLOOD; ‘Michael’ in THE ELITE, directed by Thomas Daneskov; DOG LIFE; and Frelle Petersen’s HUNDELIV. His other on-screen work includes the leading role of ‘Aksel Skov’ in the war drama INTO THE DARKNESS; and the sequel to the popular Danish DEPARTMENT Q feature films called THE MARCO EFFECT, which is based on the bestselling books by Jussi Adler-Olsen. On television, Mads performed in the series RIDE UPON THE STORM for Danish National Television, and in the romantic drama PERFEKTE STEDER. He also starred in the TV miniseries CHEMO BRAIN, which was nominated for an award at Sundance Film Festival, and he played the lead role of ‘Vitus’ in the series NOGET OM EMMA. Most recently, he has completed filming on the international feature film BORDERLINE. Mads can next be seen playing the key role of ’Tom’ in HBO’s KAMIKAZE.
