Yelyzaveta is 22 years of age and was born in Ukraine. Last year, she graduated from the National University of Theatre, Film and Television, where she majored in Drama and Acting for Film. During her time in training, Yelyzaveta developed a keen interest in dance & physical theatre, having been inspired by previous theatrical work from Dimitris Papaioannou, and Pina Bausch. This has led her to explore productions with a focus on physicality, and she is currently participating in the staging of the play POSLUKH, which deals with human rights issues. On-screen, she has acted in numerous films and on television including: WHO WILL YOU DEAL WITH, directed by Mila Pohrebyska; as ‘Tosia’ in COLOR OF REVENGE; the drama LIVE WITH WOLVES; and Roman Barabash’s GAMES OF OLDER CHILDREN, in which she played the role of ‘Nastia’. Most recently, Yelyzaveta acted in the short film MARRY ME?, which was directed by Eugen Merher; and the feature film RHINO by Oleh Sentsov, which premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival. Her upcoming projects include EUPHORIA, which is set to be directed by Eliran Peled, and BORDER, in which she will play the character of ‘Niusia’.
