Elena Borozenets

Elena was born in the Ukrainian city of Sumy. In 1998, she was accepted into Ballet School, where she studied for five years, and was subsequently recommended for admission into Kiev’s renowned Ballet & Choreography Academy. Following advice from her parents, Elena made the decision to change course, opting instead to apply for The Kiev National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, from which she graduated in 2013. Since then, she has worked on numerous Ukrainian television shows, and also on film. Her previous credits include: her first feature INFOHOLIC, where she played the role of ‘Masha’; the series THE OTHER ONE, directed by Dmitry Laktionov; as ‘Katerina Smolina’ in TRUE FRIEND; CONVOY; FOUNDLINGS; and as ‘Irina’ in the drama SECRET LOVE, by Anatoliy Grigorev. In 2020, Elena was cast as the lead role in an epic historical television series called THERE WILL BE PEOPLE, which chronicled events from the twentieth century in Ukraine. She played ‘Tanya Svitlichnaya’ in the drama, which was directed by Arkady Nepitalyuk. Elena also works as a dubbing artist, and in recent years she has been the Ukrainian voice of some of Hollywood’s biggest releases.
