Josephine is a Dutch actress who began her career at an early age and now works across both film and television. Her feature credits include leading roles as ‘Hanneli Goslar’ in MY BEST FRIEND ANNE FRANK, directed by Ben Sombogaart, and as ‘Tess’ in MY EXTRAORDINARY SUMMER WITH TESS, directed by Steven Wouterlood. The latter won the Audience Award at the New York International Children’s Film Festival and was nominated for Best First Feature at Berlinale. On television, she has appeared as ‘Marly’ in DE VUURWERKRAMP (NPO), directed by Lourens Blok; as ‘Michelle van Dam’ in EEN GROTE FAMILIE (Videoland); as ‘Zoë Muller’ in ZENITH 2 (NPO); and as ‘Isa’ in CASPER AND THE CHRISTMAS ANGELS (NPO), directed by Aniëlle Webster, which won an International Emmy Award. She has recently completed filming a young adult thriller and is entering her final year at the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts, while simultaneously shooting the first Dutch romantic period drama series, set to premiere in 2026.
