Jovan Ginić

Jovan was born in 2007 in Belgrade, where he lives with his parents and twin sister. At age fourteen, he was cast in his first ever film LOST COUNTRY. Direct by Vladimir Perišić, it tells the story of a young man growing up in Tito's Yugoslavia in the 1980’s, and his experiences in a communist family as the political system around him radically unfolds. The French-Serbian-Croatian production premiered at Cannes Film Festival as part of the Semaine De Le Critique line-up, and Jovan was awarded the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award for his performance in it. Following that, he went on to win the Heart of Sarajevo Award for Best Actor at Sarajevo Film Festival. Jovan is currently attending school, and is very active in sports, with a particular focus on waterpolo.
