Louis Bodnia Andersen

Louis was born in Copenhagen, and graduated as an actor from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2019. During his training, he gained extensive performance experience in both classical and contemporary theatre ranging from ‘Tuzenbach’ in Chekhov’s THREE SISTERS, to ‘Harry’ in WASTEWATER by Simon Stephens, as well as devising original works. Since then, he has collaborated closely with the National Film School of Denmark - from acting in films; working with the animation department as a voice actor; training; and performing with their motion-capture technology. Louis’ previous work includes: FAR directed by Alexander Bodin Saphir; the role of ‘Nalle’ in Andrias Høgenni’s ET KNAEK; ‘Little John’ in ROBIN HOOD; the leading role of ‘Fugl’ in the Scandinavian series CIRKUS SUMMARUM; the animated short POLSEELGENS ARK; and EN TILSTANDSRAPPORT FRA ISOLATION, which was directed by August Aabo. Recently, he appeared in the END OF NIGHT by David Adler, and the upcoming sequel to the feature film INTO THE DARKNESS by Anders Refn. Louis is a skilled pianist, and he has combined his talents in classical, jazz, and rhythmic music with his acting performances since his childhood. He can next be seen in the fourth season of the Emmy-winning series KILLING EVE, which will be airing in 2022.
