Petar Zekavica

Petar Zekavica is a Serbian actor who was born in Belgrade. He earned his

Bachelor of Arts degree from Hawaii Pacific University, and went on to study

film and stagecraft at the George Vasilev & Tamara Albertini Studio in New

York. Since then, he has built a career of memorable on-screen performances

including: the role of ‘Yurgens’ in Fedor Bondarchuk’s STALINGRAD; the

romantic drama THE HERITAGE OF LOVE by Yuriy Vasilev; the wartime drama

DARA OF JASENOVAC, which was directed by Predrag Antonijevic; BEYOND

THE EDGE playing the part of ‘Aleks’; as ‘Vyacheslav’ in the short film

RESTORATION, directed by Gerard MacCarthy; SEVEN DINNERS by Kirill

Pletnyov; UNION OF SALVATION as ‘Feodor Shvarts’; the television series

ZIGOSANI U REKETU, in which Petar played the recurring role of ‘Viktor’;

PRISONER OF THE PAST; and as ‘Roy’ in Aleksandr Boguslavskiy’s adventure

fantasy feature ABIGAIL. His most recent performances include the role of

‘Novak’ in the feature film COFFEE WARS directed by Randall Miller; the

thriller TRAG DIVLJACI; and as ‘Ministar Veljovic‘ in VIDEOTHEQUE. In

addition to his extensive on-screen work, Petar has worked frequently on the

stage, including performing with Taganka Theatre Company in Moscow for

three seasons and with Mart Theatre Company in Saint Peterburg.
