Raluca Aprodu

Raluca is a Romanian film and theatre actor, who was born in Bucharest. She graduated from the University of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 2009. On stage, she performed in theatrical productions of THE HANGED MAN'S FOREST, and Chekhov’s THREE SISTERS at the Bucharest National Theatre under the direction of Radu Afrim. On screen, she is known for her portrayal of the titular character in the Romanian HBO Max television series RUXX. Her other credits include: ‘Ivana’ in the series VLAD by Peter Kerek; as ‘Ilinca’ in Bogdan Mirica’s gritty feature film DOGS; as ‘Clara’ in the Romanian version of the acclaimed series IN TREATMENT directed by Constantin Popescu; Cristina Iacob’s romantic comedy LOVE IT'S A STORY; THE WANDERERS directed by Dragos Buliga; as ‘Raluca’ in Dan Chisu’s 9 POVESTI DE DRAGOSTE SI URA IN IZOLARE; BLOOD & CHOCOLATE by Katja von Garnier; and playing the role of ‘Irina’ in THREE WAY WEEK by Bruno Coppola. Most recently, Raluca has been performing a one woman show entitled GIRLS AND BOYS.
