Renate Reinsve
Renate is a Norwegian actress, who trained at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, and who has had great success in Norway making her mark on theatre, film and television alike - in both dramatic and comedic performances. She is a previous nominee of the Hedda Award (the National Theatre Award of Norway), and has worked extensively on stage at the Trøndelag Theatre, and at The Norwegian Theatre. On screen, Renate is perhaps best known for her role as ‘Line’ in Rune Denstad Langlo’s “Welcome to Norway”, which earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at The Amanda Awards (The Norwegian National Film Awards). Other screen work includes: the multiple award-winning drama “Oslo, August 31st” directed by Joachim Trier; “Sweet Things” by Henry Norvall; the television series “Best Before” and “White Boys”; and “Phoenix” directed by Camilla Strøm Henriksen. Next, Renate can be seen in the feature film “X” by writer/director Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken, and she will soon begin filming the lead role in Joachim Triers’ next feature, entitled “The Worst Person in the World”.
