Stefan Iancu

Stefan grew up in Bucharest, and began acting at a very young age. By the time he was 15 years old he had already played leading roles in Romanian productions, but also worked on international films such as "Pu-239" with Oscar Isaac; "Born to Raise Hell” with Steven Seagal; and "Walking with the Enemy" opposite Ben Kingsley. Last year, Stefan starred as 'Gabriel' in the film "One Step Behind the Seraphim", which was directed by Daniel Sandu, and also co-starred Vlad Ivanov. The film won many international awards, and earned Stefan the Young Hope Award at the Romanian Academy Awards (Gopo Awards). He is currently studying acting at the Caragiale Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest, and has two short films coming up, these are: "Avant que je m’en aille" by Julien Barazer; and "Zombie" which is directed by Iulia Rugina. Most recently, Stefan has just just completed filming a new role for the third season of the BBC’s multiple Emmy-winning show “Killing Eve”.
