At a young age, Yannick began acting with the Dutch theatre group DNA, and as a teenager he went on to appear in several film & television productions. In 2011, he was accepted into the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Maastricht, which he graduated from in 2015. His film work includes “Boy 7”, “De Held”, “In Blue” in the role of ‘Iiyas’, which was directed by Jaap van Heusden, and most recently as ‘Romano’ in “All You Need is Love”, by Will Koopman. Earlier this year, Yannick was nominated for a Dutch Academy Award (Golden Calf) for his leading performance as ‘Sharif’ in the film “Tom Adelaar”, which was directed by Gonzalo Fernandez.
