Cristina Flutur

Cristina Flutur is a Romanian actress living in Bucharest, and actively working all around the world. She started her career on the stage of the National Theatre in Sibiu, Romania, where she performed in classical and modern plays from Shakespeare, to Steinbeck. Her fascination with cinema grew, and in 2012 she was cast in Cristian Mungiu's film “Beyond the Hills”, which brought her the Best Actress award in Cannes. Since then, Cristina has portrayed characters in her native language, in English, and in French, in diverse international productions such as “Resistance” and “Backdraft II”, whilst also performing on stage in Bucharest.
