Adanna Unigwe
Adanna was born in Nigeria and moved to The Netherlands in 2006. She started acting on projects from a young age, and always knew that she wanted a career as an actor. From 2014, she worked on several television series including: KAPPEN NOU, which was directed by Ivo van Aart; GRENSLANDERS, in which she played the role of ‘Afi Minnawi’; and MEISJE VAN PLEZIER by Idse Grotenhuis & Ties Schenk. Adanna studied at the Film Actors Academy in Amsterdam, and is continuing to pursue her studies at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam - from which she will graduate in 2023. Additionally, she took part in the Unseen Acting workshop at the City Academy in London. Adanna is currently playing the role of ‘Andromache’ in the play ATROPA by Naomi Velissariou, which will tour the Netherlands.
