Known for Charlie Countryman (2013), The Devil Inside (2012), Comrade Detective (2017) and The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power (2015), Corneliu Ulici has won awards in three festivals: AVANCA - Portugal, The Romanian Film National Festival and Gopo- for best actor, best newcomer from The Romanian Filmmakers Union and a nomination for best debut performance. His first leading role in a foreign film was as ‘Father Anton’ in The Crucifixion, directed by Xavier Gens. He can most recently be seen playing Valeriu in Echoes (2018) and is currently filming What About Love (2021).
