Elín Hall
Elín Hall is an Icelandic actor and musician known for her powerful and captivating performances in film, television, and theatre. She gained international recognition for her lead role as Una in LJÓSBROT / WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival this year. Elín first rose to prominence in the Icelandic film industry with her lead roles in the features LET ME FALL, and COLD. Both performances earned her Eddan Award nominations for Actress of the Year, solidifying her reputation as one of Iceland's most promising young performers. Her English-speaking debut came out this year with IT ALL COMES WITH THE COLD WATER. On television, Elín is set to portray a young Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, the world’s first democratically elected female president, in the upcoming series VIGDÍS. Other notable television work includes her roles in the series CASE, and the documentary film OUT OF THIN AIR. Elín is also an accomplished musician, having released two albums and composed music for film and television.
