Fanny Sidney became known to international audiences thanks to her role as ‘Camille Valentini’ in the hugely popular french series CALL MY AGENT, and is now an accomplished actor and director. Before wanting to act or film, Fanny’s sole ambition was to be a professional soccer player, and as a teenager, she spent five years in a women's club in the Parisian suburbs where she lived. Once out of high school, Fanny made the decision to train in dramatic art at the Cours Florent, and the experience proved to be a seminal one. There, she began to stage her first productions for the Avignon Off Festival, and she took part in short films such as CASTING by Pierre Niney. She was soon cast in the series HARD by Cathy Verney, which she shot for three seasons. More screen work followed, and her other credits include: the role of ‘Sabrina’ in Jean-François Richet’s MESRINE: PUBLIC ENEMY NO.1; the feature film POPULAIRE by Régis Roinsard; LA NEIGE AU VILLAGE; as ‘Isa’ in the Mélanie Laurent-directed film BREATHE; and ‘Véronique’ in the comedy SEX, LOVE & THERAPY. As a director, Fanny has consistently focussed on directing works that are as funny as they are revealing of contemporary issues, on projects including JEUNE ET GOIRI and the series BRIGADE MOBILE. Equally at home either In front or behind the camera, she always cultivates work combining humour with an irresistible candor. Fanny can next be seen performing the lead role of ‘Louise’ in the series LES AMATEURS for Disney+.
