Garance Marillier
At just 21 years of age, Garance is most notably known to international audiences for her incredible work in Julia Ducournau’s award-winning feature film “Raw”, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Prior to becoming an actress, Garance learned the trombone and classical percussion at Conservatoire de Paris. She started her theatre training at the Dyonis company, before going on to join the Cours Florent in 2010, and the Ecole du Jeu in 2012. Her first role after graduation was in 2011 playing ‘Julia’ in the short film “Junior” by Julia Ducournau, which had its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The following year, she appeared in the short film “It’s Not A Cowboy Movie”, which was also selected to be screened at Cannes. This year, Garance played the role of ‘Billie’ in the drama “Pompei” opposite fellow Subtitle attendee Aliocha Schneider.
She can next be seen in the feature film “Warning” by Agata Alexander; “Madame Claude” by Sylvie Verheyde; and as the lead role of ‘Crista’ in Netflix’s “Ad Vitam” – for which Garance just won the Best Actress Award from L'Association des Critiques de Séries.
