Kim Higelin
Kim discovered her passion for acting at the age of eight during a theatre workshop at Les Cours Florent. Years later, her mother—then a theatre student at Blanche Salant—offered Kim her own training spot when she could no longer afford tuition for them both. It was there that Kim deepened her craft through improvisation, body work, and classical French texts by Racine and Molière. After graduating high school with a theatre specialisation, Kim joined L’École de l’Acteur, where she was not only a student but also an assistant teacher, community manager, and mentor to younger performers. Kim began her screen career in short films before landing the lead role in the television series PLAN B. Her film debut came soon after in CONSENT (Le Consentement), directed by Vanessa Filho, earning her a César Award nomination for Best Female Newcomer. Her performance was also recognised with several accolades, including Best Actress at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and a Q d’Or Award. Since then, Kim has taken on a variety of roles across film and television, appearing in THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON, UN STUPÉFIANT NOËL, UN OURS DANS LE JURA, ALTERLOVE, GIBIER, UN CHAMP DE FRAISES POUR L’ÉTERNITÉ, SPECIES, EARL GREY, IL ÉTAIT UNE FOIS, BOHÊME, and DE NATURE HUMAINE, among others. Kim will next star in the English-language series DELETE/IGNORE and in Franck Dubosc’s 5:48 PLACE DES MARTYRS, marking their second collaboration. She will also reunite with Vanessa Filho on two upcoming film projects, continuing a creative partnership she holds close.
