Victoria Carmen Sonne
Victoria studied at The Danish National School of Theatre. After graduating, she appeared in Rasmus Heisterberg’s "In The Blood" for which she won a Bodil (the Danish Critic’s Association Award), and was nominated for a Robert Award (Danish National Film Award) for Best Supporting Actress. In 2017 she starred in Hlynur Palmason’s "Winter Brothers". The film went on to win several awards including the main prize at CPH PIX in Denmark. In 2018, Victoria starred in the lead role of ‘Laura’ in "Neon Heart", by Laurits Flensted-Jensen. She was also one of the breakout talents from Sundance as the star of Isabella Eklof’s "Holiday", for which Victoria won a Bodil Award for Best Actress. Her most recent film, "Psychosia", was directed by Marie Grathø, and opened at the Venice Film Festival. Victoria can next be seen in the feature film "Miss Osaka", in which she plays the lead role of ‘Ines’. It is due for release in 2020, and is written & directed by Daniel Dencik.
